Local Defiance Tea Parties in April and July saw area citizens meet to protest out-of-control government spending, punitive taxation, fiscal irresponsibility, and statism. Speakers included Jim Babka of DownsizeDC.org, Jason Osborne, local entrepreneur, Dr. Nikolai Wenzel of Hillsdale College, and Pamela Clark of New Heights Educational Group, inc.
